Claretian Academy, Lagos, November 13, 2025. It was a moment of immense joy and spirit-lifting as His Grace, Most Rev. Dr. Alfred Adewale Martins, the Metropolitan of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos paid a historic visit to Claretian Academy, Ewu-owa, Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria. It was his first ever. He was accompanied by the Dean of Ijede Deanery of Lagos, VRFr. Joe Ben Onyia and Fr. Augustine Echefu, the Parish Priest of Holy Trinity Catholic Church Ewu-owa under whose pastoral jurisdcition situates.
The special visitors were received by Fr. Kenneth Ejeh, CMF (Assistant School Manager/Financial Administrator), Staff, Pupils, Students, Parents and Friends of Claretian Academy. With the momentous coming of the Archbishop to our school during the administration of Fr. Emmanuel Terseer Ubi, CMF, the School Manager, the Claretian Academy, of the Claretian Missionaries, Delegation West Nigeria, is encouraged to grow better strengthened in their contribution to the service of Religious Education within the Archdiocese for the good of our promising children.
