As a fruit of the meeting of the all Economes of the Congregation in Brazil in 2017, the Major Econome, Br. Isaiah Olarewaju organized an Economic Encounter of the Delegation bringing together all the local Economes, parish priests, local superiors, heads of activities and the Delegation Economic Council with members of the Delegation Council.
It ran from the 9th – 11th of January 2018 at the CMF Postulate House in Ibefun, Ijebu Ode Diocese, Ogun State.

Various communities and activities gave reports of the economic realities of areas of responsibilities. 17 Claretians were in attendance with the Major Superior, VRF Daniel Onyeayana, CMF present.

The Delegation Econome made it known to the participants that their economic reports are supposed to be given after every six months. We are meant to follow this periodic report the same manner the General Government does across all Organisms. Our Delegation has to key into structure.
However, Br Isaiah detailed the outcome of the meeting in Brazil that touched on all economic spheres: the new General Accounting Plan, budgeting and accounting, how to write project, sharing of goods, health care and retirement schemes, self-sufficiency, employees and legal protection.
After a thorough lecture on these, the participants went into three groups for discussions and came up with resolutions that will fully involve members of the Delegation in the General Government’s accounting plan. Every participant was pleased with the development and progress of the encounter.

Nice encounter, bravo
