HURRAH! TICLA FINALLY HAS A HOME…

Abuja – Nigeria, November 10, 2018. At last, to the greater glory of God, through the Mission and Ministry of the entire Claretian Missionaries – Nigerian Province/Delegation and Missions in Africa (ACLA) – the Theological Institute for Consecrated Life in Africa (TICLA) has a home. It is the Foundation Laying ceremony – Prayers of blessing – of the home for the Institute.

This groundbreaking event took place today, Saturday, November 10, 2018 in Abuja led in prayers by His Eminence John Cardinal Onaiyekan, the Metropolitan Archbishop of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria witnessed by VRF Henry Omonisaye of the General Consultor, Rome and animator of the Institutes for Consecrated Life in the Congregation and VRF Daniel Onyeayana, the Major Superior of the Claretian Missionaries West Nigeria Delegation.

Accordingly, we can chant with the psalmist, “What marvels the Lord has done for us – Indeed we were glad” (Ps 125:3).

The Chief of Gaba (in flowing traditional blue) where the TICLA is located was also present.

TICLA is moving this week towards the East for its Symposium on Consecrated Life focusing on Collaborative Ministry in Mission from the 13th to the 16th of November at the Daughters of Divine Love Retreat and Conference Centre, Enugu, Nigeria.
