Saturday, November 9, 2019. The Educational Exchange Visit to Nigeria by our collaborators from Spain and Italy has ended with wonderful feelings of lasting joy. On the above date, the Claretian students of Claretian Academy Ewowa, in Ikorodu, Lagos State hosted the nine representatives from Spain and Italy who have been on an educational exchange encounter here in Nigeria (as earlier reported on this same site).
They arrived at the school premises at about 12:00 noon with a colourful and warm welcome via entertainment by the students and staff of the Claretian Academy. It was a heartwarming encounter for those present at the occasion – the visitors, the students, staff etc. At the end of the meeting, the visitors and the hosts expressed fulfilment and described the meeting as unique and necessary for the growth of the school ministry of the Delegation. On their part, the staff members were excited when it was announced that, next year, November 2020, there will be an encounter in Equatorial Guinea for the Staffs of all Claretian academies in Africa.
After the school visit, the visiting train went to St Augustine’s Catholic Church, Ikorodu, where the guests had lunch and rested a bit before moving to the airport at 6:00 pm for the 11:30 pm flights to their different destinations.
We pray that their fraternal, yet professional, visit will bear fruit in the nearest future for the good of our schools.

The Team first visited Claret Secondary School Kabba from 4th – 5th November 2019
