From April 20 to May 10, 2017, Fr. Manuel Tamargo, cmf, General Econome of the Claretian Missionaries, conducted his first Canonical Visit to the 10 Communities and 2 Residences of the Independent Delegation West Nigeria. After attending in person to all the communities in Nigeria, West of Africa, he also visited our brothers on foreign missions to South Africa, specifically, in Johannesburg and Cape Town Archdioceses.
In his observations, he told the members that their young Delegation has so many potentials at their disposal for building a bright future and better growth across all aspects of the Claretian Missionary life. He commended the ongoing projects of the Organism. Every member of the Delegation was happy to meet him during the Visit.
During his Visit to the Isolo House, residence for the Communication Directors, he blessed the Altar and the Monstrance in the small Chapel.
The Visit ended with farewell meetings, speeches and dinner at the Ojodu Curia House, Ikeja.
His presence was both animating and enriching.
