PRAYERFUL SILENCE—WEST NIGERIA DELEGATION ON ANNUAL RETREAT

Pope John Paul II Pastoral Centre, Ado-Ekiti. In prayerful silence, unalloyed obedience and filial surrender to God’s paternal directives, the members of the Delegation West Nigeria of the Missionaries Sons of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Claretian Missionaries, gathered at the serene atmosphere of Pope John Paul II Pastoral Centre, Ado-Ekiti, in Ekiti Diocese of Ekiti State, Southwest Nigeria for their Annual Retreat.

The yearly spiritual exercise, moderated by Rev. Fr Emmanuel Ukata, CMF of the East Nigeria Province, started on Monday, October 24 (the Solemnity of our Holy Father Founder St Anthony Mary Claret) ends on Friday, October 28, 2022.

The controlling theme of this hallowed activity is indubitably timely, religiously cautionary and, seemingly, apocalyptic but suitably eschatological: “Rethinking Our Pilgrimage to Our Eternal Home Land.” He who has ears to hear, let him hear (Matt. 11:15) what the spirit is saying to the churches (cf. Rev. 2:17a).

We, therefore, continue to pray for every one of you and ask that you meditate along with us. Thus, as you read this, you are already part of the beneficiaries of the fruits that come from our intensive prayer moment.

Immaculate Heart of Mary – Be our Salvation!

St Anthony Mary Claret – Pray for Us!
