The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, who presided over the meeting himself, signed the important document.
Briefing the press after the FEC meeting, the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, said that the National University Commission (NUC) – the regulatory body of tertiary institutions in Nigeria – will provide the Universities a 3-year provisional licences during which regular monitoring and constant evaluation continue.
What a great news to the Nigerian Claretians and our Lay collaborators. We thank all those who directly and indirectly worked tirelessly to bring this long-time dream to a measured reality.
However, we must thank VR Fr Wenceslaus Madu, CMF and his team for a great conquest. He is a Champion!
