The Nigerian Bishops once more gathered to brainstorm and take firm position on the issues that bother the Catholic Church in Nigeria vis-a-vis the multifarious socio-political and religious challenges, that so often and most recently, threaten the fragile unity and survival of the country. This Second Plenary Meeting of the Catholic Bishop’ Conference of Nigeria (CBCN), September 6-14, 2018, took place at Pinnacle Guest Inn and Resort, Sokoto, Sokoto State, in the North-western part of Nigeria.
During this time, the Bishops took time to pay courtesy visits to various religious and political leaders of the State as shown in some of the pictures herein contained.
As expected, the Conference issued, at the end, a strongly worded but spirit-lifting Communiqué. A must read for all.
