Elerumoke, Ibadan, Sunday, March 3, 2019. The day was filled with immeasurable joy at the Claret House of Theology, Elerumoke, Ibadan, Oyo State, South-West Nigeria as two students belonging to the Delegation of Cameroon took their Perpetual Vows in the Congregation of Missionaries, Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Claretian Missionaries.

The Mass began at 10:30 am. The Chief Celebrant was Fr. Michel Archange TIGUI, Major Superior of Cameroon Delegation. He received the vows of the finally professed brother Claretians: ACHILLE ABAH and MBA EMERAM. Those who flanked him at the Eucharistic celebration were Fr. Joseph Mbungu (Major Superior of the Delegation of Congo) and Fr. Daniel Onyeayana (host Major Superior of Delegation of West Nigeria).

The homilist, Fr. Jude Langeh, Prefect of Apostolate of the Delegation of Cameroon, encouraged the newly professed to totally rely on God, the author of vocation, to direct and guide them in the final step they have taken. Furthermore, he admonished them to be ready to take up any mission assigned to them for the good of the Church and the Congregation.

Other Major Superiors from some African Delegations, who attended the just concluded African Claretians (ACLA) meeting in Lagos, and some Cameroonians in Ibadan adorned the ceremony.

The Superior of Cameroon Delegation Fr. Michel Archange Tigui thanked the Delegation Superior, Fr. Daniel Onyeayana for his dedication to the formation of his students and prayed that God grant him grace to succeed in his missionary enterprise.

We are grateful to God for yet gifting to the Claretian Family a twin set of missionaries who have willingly accepted to take the final step in their religious journey and life.
