Owerri-Nigeria, June 22, 2022. The Claretian Missionaries of Nigeria regret to announce the death of Fr Nicholas Mbogu, CMF who passed-on to eternal glory this morning, Wednesday, 22 June, 2022. Kindly pray for the repose of his soul.
Fr Nick, as he was fondly called, was a veteran Missionary, and a participating Delegate in the ongoing Provincial Chapter of the East Nigeria Province that started since Monday. He was 64.
Fr Nick was buried on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at the Claretian Cemetery, Maryland, Nekede, Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria after a Requiem Mass.
May his soul and the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen!
